About Hannah
Hannah has been playing the flute professionally for 13 years and specialises on the piccolo. Alongside her playing work, Hannah has also taught and accompanied young flute players.

Hannah took up the flute at the age of 8. By the age of 10 she had passed her grade 8 examination with distinction and was winning competitions across the length of the country.

By the age of 12 Hannah was co-principal flute of the National Children's Orchestra and performed in some of the country's top venues under the conductors Colin Metters and Hillary Daven-Whetton.

A few years on, Hannah joined the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra and became the co-principal flute. During her time in the orchestra, they were named the best Youth Orchestra in the country.

Hannah was awarded bursaries and grants from a range of national and local companies in order to progress with her flute playing career which helped with her tours to Paris, Barcelona, Redon, Goch, Chile and across the UK.

Since progressing to a professional musician Hannah has performed in numerous solo recitals as well as orchestral work with the British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and other local orchestras. Hannah will be performing at the Shaldon Festival this year.
